something smells fishy...

ok. i spent my lunch hour eating and checking out etsy. great place for random stuff... cheap. while on etsy i found this couple who combine their interdisciplinary design practice with expertise in illustration, print, web design and architecture. their work is fantastic, found here. you may be able to see the prints more clearly by visiting their website.

here are a few i would like... maybe i'll get them for nate for christmas?!

random... also found these... really liked them - reminded me of something from anthropolgie. although i'm not sure what i'd do with a mushroom platter. it is still neat.

ok. go with me on this broach thing... what if this design was brought in tighter with small pearls and you created a ring? i'd have the middle be open though - just like this.

another rainy day...

i love the rain... but i hate the getting wet part if i have some place to go. i thought this umbrella would help cheer me up if i had to go out in the rain. much cuter than my nautica umbrella - although i have done the cute umbrella route before, and i must say it isn't always the driest route.

all u need is love

this bench is so romantic. it reminds me of a movie where two people don't know each other and they both sit there , enjoying the view, italian music playing somewhere in the distance - and their dogs get tangled or something then they fall in love and get married.

a little far fetched - but i could see it happening on this bench!

i love this pillow

can't remember where i found it though - that's always a problem! :)

cot u

i cot you! :) i love this idea of taking a cot and turning it into a coffee table... this may work well in our office!!

living spaces i luv

all i have to say about this one is i love the colors! looks similar to my house - but we have a bit more red...

i love the patterns on these chair cushions... and also the loop design on the table and chair backs.

i have been looking for a bike like this for a year now... but i am convinced i can find one under $50. i'd prefer to redo it myself and paint it turquoise. Specifically in this picture though i am in love with this flooring. anyone know what kind it is?

i don't know why - but i like things under stairs - i've always liked that space...

i think this could be amazing if you could hook up some lighting behind the glass so it illuminates the colors.

i think there are some amazing wall papers out there now - this one reminds me of The Sound of Music! :)
ok. here are just a few images that i really like...

is it time for christmas yet?

so everyone who knows me knows that i love Christmas and that i even whistle carols throughout the year... here are some favorites that are sure to appear in some form during my 2007 Christmas year:

i ♥ cupcakes!

if only i was a better cook! i love these cupcakes from Martha Stewart... i think a may have to spend a weekend and make some.

alphabet soup for your garden

while on my typography kick i ran across this image as well... i love how they've taken aluminum letters and placed them down into the pavers. what a great idea... it would be really nice to create little sayings or quotes along a windy path in a garden... might have to pass this along to my grandpa + dad...

alphabet soup for your wall

nate + i are always stopping and gazing at the large letters in joann's or thrift stores - but we can never figure out what we would do with them... i think i've found a solution. alphabet soup for your wall...

ironing out the details

i love this idea. i may have to duplicate it somewhere in my house!!

oh beehave

this fabulous light design is by marie bossée. she transforms iron into amazing works of art.

three potato four...

i found this site called Three Potato Four while searching around on some other blogs and checked it out - it is an online vintage store based out of Virginia. they have some really neat stuff. i liked this apothecary set in particular. the vintage text is so neat, and the box has such character.

back in action...

ok. i've been a little busy at work, so needless to say i haven't blogged since august... i've been stuck on a project that is just draining the creativity out of me, so i've ventured onto the web to get inspired. the following are things i've run across... i'll try to keep it organized.
